Some days, you step onto your mat feeling strong. Other days, everything feels wobbly. That’s normal! Our bodies change every single day—especially for women. Hormones, sleep, stress, even what you ate for breakfast can shift how you move. Instead of expecting to feel the same every time, yoga teaches us to adjust, accept, and move with awareness.
Take Tree Pose. One day, you’re steady, your foot pressed high against your thigh. The next? You’re wobbling, toes barely leaving the floor. And guess what? Both versions are great, and in both versions, you're enjoying the benefits and purpose of the pose. Some days, balance means standing on one leg. On other days, it means keeping both feet on the ground and just breathing.
At Equal Yoga, we encourage you to meet yourself where you are. Your practice is valid whether you flow powerfully or take a gentler approach. Strength isn’t just about pushing through—it’s also about knowing when to soften. Some days, the best thing you can do is spend the whole class in Child’s Pose, simply breathing and being present. And that? That’s yoga too. 💚
So next time you’re on the mat, ditch the expectations. Some days you fly. Some days you modify. Some days you just rest. Either way, you're showing up—and that’s what matters most. 🔥
